The question is quite simple, did you explore further content about your favorite servants, and if yes, what movie/book/song did you check??

From my part, besides having made some research on the life of the real Mary Anning before, and going to the Natural History Museum in London to see her discoveries with my own eyes, I watched this movie yesterday night and I loved it!

On an another side, one of my best friends bought a huge fancy edition of the 'Epic of Gilgamesh' to learn more about the myth of Gil and Enkidu some years ago haha

I know about Caesar through Asterix and Obelix and history books :p

And I know about Bunyan cause that tale was a fun story when I was a kid. Not much to read about than being really just tall tales to have some fun.

Thats it, though.

A good record for sure, just like 2016 Chinese GP back then.

@Brichards719 I also love Van Gogh's art and was so happy to see it in real life at the National Gallery in London (kill two birds with one stone eh). The Matt Smith Doctor Who episode about him is also one of my favorites in the entire show!

Regarding Abby, I have a full collection of books retracing the entire bibliography of Lovecraft at home, that's another point for her haha

@Iczer9 Asterix and Obelix mentioned *the French in me awakens*

That's quite funny because from my side of the Atlantic I never heard a single word about Bunyan growing up, and discovered the character in FGO (and Gravity Falls)

Also, I forgot to mention Quetzalcóatl but, aside from the fascination I had for the big flying dragon-lizard-dinosaur he's often portrayed as when I was a kid, I didn't know much about the actual myth until I rediscovered the character through FGO. I'm not a pro on the subject but I know some stuff now, and I can't wait to learn more when I visit Teotihuacan later this year!

My knowledge of the history of my favorite servant does not go beyond the YouTube videos. I'm just too lazy to read the same Arthurian literature to know Seiba's history.

@Esarko You will be surprised how much American media was broadcasted in Germany while I was a kid. I forgot Bunyan was in Gravity Falls XD

Oh that's right you're German! So that surprises me even more haha

Referring to Bunyan, he only appears for one shot in the opening credits!

I actually just remembered I've seen what might be the largest Paul Bunyan and Babe statues in the US (49 feet and 35 feet) in person back in 2006 in California when I was visiting my family in Oregon. And I agree Vincent and the Doctor is definitely one of the best Doctor Who episodes.

Speaking of Epic of Gilgamesh, if they can make a Hollywood-style series of that...

It's been difficult looking for shows or movies about our favourite Fate servants. Sure, the popular ones from the Roman times, western/European servants are not as difficult. The Asian servants are not difficult either in their native countries e.g. Japan, China etc. But man can it be hard to find some in the Middle East or Africa.

My fav is Oberon and, although I am a big book fan, I'm not the biggest Shakespeare fan, though my knowledge of the overall cast, of the game not the book, quite big (also my country is yet to be represented in this game, and oh boy how am I waiting for the day).

I definitelly felt like rewatching Jason and the Argonauts after Atlantis lol

But overall, I don't really venture much outside of Fate's interpretation since it's the Fate interpretation that I like (and my favorite's don't really have nearly as colorful a lore IRL lol, especially the anti heroes)

That said, I love the Celt servants, their legends truly feel like epics.

I do enjoy stumbling upon some movies and series that cover the characters I've seen in FGO. For example, we have a lot of the old biblical movies on TV here, so seeing David, Solomon and Samson felt interesting.

What do you think?
